Lamentably, one of our dear fellow competitors, Ed, was unable to join us tonight for our weekly bowling bonanza. He was dreadfully missed, but it's hoped he will make a triumphant return next week! As it happened, Judge, a new player in the ranks, joined us for the first time and performed beautifully! Tonight was also a great night for Laurel, who smashed her all-time high score by bowling an impressive and thus far unrivaled 183 points!!! We saw Chase's scores creep back into the triple digits--thank god--and Niroop stayed true to form and consistent with an overall average increase in scores. We also took a new angle: Teams! It was the Americans v.s Indians in a cultural battle of the bowl! Indians win 3:2! |

The spirit of bowling is no pining spaniel! If you leave it--take off a week--it'll snub you just like it did us! We waited in the bowling alley for two hours and never even got a lane. In the end, we finally had to call it quits and walk home with our dignity between our legs. Hopefully Bowling will have the heart to forgive us by next week. Dear Chase, Niroop, Laurel, and Ed, |

Niroop made a clean sweep, taking every game like delicious candy victory, sharing only with Laurel, who tied with him for first in the last game. For most of the group, though, this was a dark week that saw the dropping of scores, especially for Chase, who though smart, handsome, and musically talented, sucked it up big time all over the lane and didn't even break 100 the whole night. Better luck next week, chap! Game 5 Game 6 Game 7

This was the first night Ed joined us in a game, and for a while, he completely owned everybody, taking the first two games of the night without breaking a sweat. Then Niroop silently crept up sniped the third game before it knew what hit it. The last game went to Laurel, who with her gentle finesse, caressed the pins to their graves. Chase, on the other hand, didn't win a thing, but he was very sore from working out. So there. Game 1 Game 2 Game 3 Game 4
